The nutritional needs of horses change with age and workload. I provide the following services to assist owners in understanding the nutritional needs of the horse:
- Evaluation of the specific nutritional needs of your horse and development of customized feeding plans
- Feed, hay, and pasture analysis with ration balancing
- Specialized nutritional support for high performance horses, senior horses, malnourished, and post-surgical cases.
- I am not affiliated with any feed or pharmaceutical company, and can provide independent product research, including written reports on commercial feed and supplements.

Research shows that the bond between horses and people is unique and truly complex, and seeing their health and/or quality of life deteriorate can be devastating for families. Every horse is different, and daily monitoring for QOL can help provide comfort and enhanced guidance for owners who are facing difficult decisions and important discussions with their veterinarian. I provide services and resources for the assessment of Equine QOL.

Grief Recovery Services
Caring for horses in both life and death is critical, and we have a responsibility to maximize the horse’s well-being every day. I work with owners (and their veterinarians, if desired) to help them understand and navigate the steps when end of life planning is needed, as well as grief support and the many ways to memorialize your horse. Understanding and planning for the end of a horse’s life can help families better cope with the loss of a beloved equine partner. Services provided include:
- End of life planning and euthanasia education
- Grief support and assistance with memorialization
